Job Responsibilities :
• Develop Annual Manufacturing Plan and a strategic Annual Sales and marketing plan in line with company’s business objectives • Optimize Logistics & Distribution System, to ensure efficient supply of goods. • Ensure that all implemented advertising, promotional and other marketing programs are in accordance with the agreed upon Annual plan • Oversee the management systems; including ensuring the cash from sales is deposited into the company’s cashiers and regularly monitoring cash and stock at depots • Ensure the sales MIS reporting is updated • Ensure that Plant Performance Tracking Systems include agreed upon KPIs • Proactively improve on the Standard efficiencies against the budget in terms of Machine Efficiencies, material yields, labor and Overhead costs, without compromise on Quality. • Cost effective, annual fleet maintenance plan, with inventory system • Ensure the quality control and assurance policies with established standards. • Monitor reports on material usage to ensure wastage are kept to a minimum • Inspect sites regularly to ensure that all standards are adhered to • In cooperation with HODs, prepare the reports (budgets, annual business plan, period performance statements, etc.) • Ensure that annual business objectives of key managers are aligned with the company’s business goals. • Build an effective team based environment and motivate employees to optimize their performance by applying PMP • In cooperation with HR, ensure good industrial relations with the work force are maintained
Candidate Profile :
• Min 10 years work experience with at least 5 years at senior management level (preferably in a FMCG - Beverage industry).
Other Skills Required :
• Develop a strategic annual business plan in line with company’s objectives and ensure its effective implementation. • Responsible and accountable for monitoring all line and staff activities to ensure efficient manufacturing, sales and distribution of company products. • Maintain open channels of communication with all heads of departments to ensure efficient operations. • Perform random audits of the departments he oversees in cooperation with key managers in the organization to ensure compliance with published reports, standard operating procedures and declared inventories (raw material, spare parts, stock count etc.) • Strive to continuously improve on the processes used and on the results obtained. • Lead and motivate the team to align their efforts with company’s set objectives.
